New Generation Energy have been providing wind turbine solutions for clients for over six years. A large proportion of these are for on grid customers but we also specialise in off grid solutions for those with very expensive to run diesel generators.
We sell and install turbines from 200W to 50KW in generation capacity.
We do not promote or sell roof mounted turbines.
An important part of our service to you is the identification of the ideal site for your wind turbine to maintain optimum productivity whilst meeting planning requirements.
We provide a full turnkey solution in terms of site survey, planning provided by our planning consultant, through to groundworks and turbine delivery and installation. We are also committed to your ongoing service and support.
To ensure good performance it is widely accepted that an average yearly wind speed of 5 metres per second and above is required. Please use the link Wind Survey below to forward your information to us so that we can do a simple desktop survey of your site.
Currently the FIT rate for turbines under 15kW of capacity is 21p for every Kwh generated, a deemed export rate is given at 4.5p and the FIT term is 20 years. The tariff is also index linked. Although the FIT rate has lowered wind turbines will continue to offer those clients with good annual wind speeds great returns.
