New Generation Energy are able to offer a full HIP pack service or individual EPC's as required. We can provide a full HIP pack to you within seven days of ordering.

The energy performance certificate has been introduced with the aim of giving each household an individual energy rating. As part of the survey the houses overall insulation levels, heating and hot water systems, ventilation and fuel usage are assessed and rated.

The certificate details the current energy efficiency of your home. The higher the rating is the more energy efficient the home is and the lower the fuels bills will be.

It also details the current environmental impact (Co2) rating i.e. the home's impact on the environment in terms of carbon dioxide emissions (the average household causes about six tonnes of Co2 emissions per year).

The certificate goes on to detail the potential energy efficiency ratings and the potential environmental impact ratings of the home, whilst taking into account the cost efficiency of measures to improve the homes performance ratings.
