Ground Heat Pumps

Ground heat pumps have been used in other countries for many years, in Scandinavia they are commonly seen heating people's homes.
The principle of operation is very simple, they use the ground's temperature 11-13 degrees to heat a stored water volume to about 40 degrees by a principle that is the reverse operation of a common fridge. At 35 degrees the heat pumps will give a COP(Co-efficient of performance) of about 4:1 this means 4 KW/H of energy out to 1 KW/H of energy in.
We work with leading name suppliers like Worcester Bosch for ground, water and air heat source pumps. We will specify the required pump from your drawings and can provide the full solution from installation of the ground loops to the fitting of the underfoor heating. Grants are available of up to £1500 as we are MCS certified.
